This pizza was born out of a love letter to summer, to courgettes AKA zucchini, and (maybe most of all) to Stanley Tucci.

If you've ever seen his cooking show where he eats his way around Italy, you might remember the episode where he lands in the stunning village of Nerano on the Amalfi Coast. There, he tucks into their legendary pasta dish: A creamy zucchini sauce tossed through spaghetti, topped with crispy fried zucchini slices and finished with provolone cheese.

Simple. Iconic. Totally Tucci. 

Celebrate the start of summer (and zucchini season) as we pay homage to that very dish – in proper Pizza Pilgrims style.

Say ciao to The Zucchini Nerano: a pizza that’s all about sunshine, seasonality and sharp cheesy goodness. We start with a silky zucchini cream on the base, layered with mozzarella and golden, deep-fried zuchinni slices. Then it all gets fired up in the oven to bubbly perfection before we hit it with Auricchio Provolone – a punchy, cheddar-like cheese from Napoli that brings a bold, tangy finish to all that sweet zucchini goodness. 

It’s a pizza that brings together the best of both worlds: Italian inspiration and seasonal produce at its peak. It’s fresh, a little indulgent, and totally summer-on-a-plate.
